Bosnalijek - The winner of DOBRO08 competition

Winners of first BH competition for Most responsible company of the year - DOBRO08 - announced in Sarajevo in December


Fundation Mozaik announced first BH competition for socially most responsible company of the year DOBRO08.

Winners by categories are:

  • Category Corporate philantropy - Širbegović Group;
  • Category Good Cause Marketing - PC Kids; and
  • Category Responsible Business Practices - Bosnalijek.

Corporate Responsibility Award went to Bosnalijek pharmaceutical company.

Bosnalijek will have the privilege to use the DOBRO08 logo in 2008, on all its products and publications.

The selection was the responsibility of the First Degree and High Jury that selected the winners among the applicants on basis of preset criteria. For more information on the Competition, visit http://www.mozaik.ba/.

2008 World Business and Development Awards Launched

The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the International Business Leaders Forum (IBLF) are pleased to open nominations for the 2008 World Business and Development Awards in support of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

The awards recognize the contribution of the private sector to help achieve the MDGs through their core business.

Business Against Corruption - A Framework for Action

Implementation of tenth principle

United Nations Global Compact, International Business Leaders Forum and Transparency International have launched the first guide to companies preparing themselves to implement the objectives of the tenth principle of Global Compact and to deal with corruption in every aspect of their operations.

Anticorruption/Transparency Training for business people

Two training conducted in Sarajevo and Banja Luka

BiH Global Compact Network and Transparency International (TI) BiH organised and conducted two training in anticorruption and transparency for business people in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Training have been organised in Sarajevo and Banja Luka with identical Agenda and goal: To give support to BH companies in implementation of 10th GC principle:

"Businesses should work against corruption in all its forms, including extortion and bribery."

Conference on Global Compact in Doboj – North Bosnia


On 26 September the conference entitled „Global Compact in Local Communities“ was organized to promote the Global Compact initiative and corporate social responsibility concept within BiH local communities.
